What Is Included In 1-Page Website?

A 1-page website is ideal for a company that wants to quickly & efficiently put their primary product & service offerings online. It allows your new & existing customers to quickly understand who you are, what your company can do for them, and how to get in touch with you for a quote/estimate.

A standard 1-page website includes the following:

A clean, modern design that looks professional on desktops, laptops, tablets and mobile devices.

All contact information (email, phone number(s) and street addresses). A contact form that customers can submit any time from the website, when inquiries are submitted you will get both an email confirmation and a text message letting you know an inquiry has been received.

Up to four main services: A clear, simple description of each service along with any photos or videos related to each service.

Frequently Asked Questions: Up to ten common questions that you are usually answering for new potential customers.

Your business Google, Facebook and Yelp reviews displayed and automatically updated on the site:

Photo Gallery: Photos related to your services or products that showcase what you offer.

An interactive Google Map showing your business address or the area that you service if you have a mobile based business.

Clearly defining the scope of my service offering is what allows me to create a professional website quickly and on budget for my customers.

It is important to understand what is not included in the pricing of a 1-page website. Keep in mind any of these can be added to the project (let me know if you need any of these and I will update the pricing to include them), the simple pricing of the 1-page website does not include the following:

Logo & brand creating: I will incorporate your existing logo and brand colours into the design of the page. If you need help coming up with a clean logo that has a simple graphic element that can be done starting @ $97. If you have a low quality logo on letterhead or a business card, it can usually be updated to a high resolution file format.

Content writing & editing: I will use the content that I receive and put it into a clean layout and design. If you need help creating the initial content for the website (company descriptions, services etc.) that can be priced individually based on your needs.

Pictures & photography: I will use the photos that I receive and incorporate them into a gallery or design aspects. If you want any stock photos to be used on the site, there are costs to license those but I always recommend providing your own photos.

Access to the website by the business owner & staff: 1-page pricing does not include any access to the website. There is more time involved setting up a website for other users to log into and have the ability to modify content and this would be priced according to required needs.

Updating content on the site after the initial build is not included in the initial cost but available in the Hosting & Maintenance with Edits option below.

Ongoing SEO: ongoing SEO is an entirely different & very involved service and is not included in the pricing of the simple 1-page website. I build sites with best SEO practices in mind to give you a home base to use in your own marketing and social media campaigns. I do have a few providers that offer ongoing marketing and SEO services if interested.

One Time Fee:

1-Page Initial Setup – $797: all details of what is included & not included are above.

Monthly Fee:

Hosting & Maintenance – $97 per month or $970 per year: If you don’t anticipate the need to update information on the site this takes care of all licensing, hosting, backups, security and back end updates for you.

Hosting & Maintenance with Edits – $147 per month or $1,470 per year: includes everything above and also up to 15 minutes of updating content (updating photos/content, adding/removing sections on the main page etc.) each month.

Additional Services:

Google/Facebook Reviews Widget – $27 per month or $270 per year: show your 25 most recent 5-star reviews displayed at the bottom of every page.

Google Business Posting – $297 per month or $2,970 per year: 39 recurring posts posted 3 days per week Mon/Wed/Fri (156 posts/year). My process is designed so that each time those 39 posts are used, the wording is slightly different so there are no duplicate content posts in the eyes of Google.

Additional Static Pages – $197: adding additional pages to the site such as detailed product or service pages, a before & after project overview or case studies (content to be provided by customer).

Payment Page with GetPaid & Stripe – $197: add the ability to accept payments on your website (you must register and set up your own Stripe account).

4 Hour Time Blocks – $397: Anything that is not specifically included in the services can be estimated on a case by case basis in advance so there are no surprises to any costs. The block would typically be scheduled during business hours and I am available for that entire time via text, email, Zoom call or phone.

Frequently Asked Questions:

You own all the content on your site (photos, logos, pages etc.). I will make it very easy to migrate all your content to any provider but the premium plugin licenses that I use to quickly and efficiently build a 1-page website are not transferable. I use well-supported premium tools that are accessible to any digital agency, most agencies have their own preferred tools and typically convert content to the tools they use.

There are no contracts involved in the monthly fees, as long as you can give me a day or two advance notice I can deactivate the monthly auto-billing. I’m not trying to hold a website hostage, I want you to be happy as a customer. If you pay annually in advance for the year (2 months free hosting in that case), I typically check in shortly before the annual renewal to make sure your needs are being met. You can switch to an annual plan from monthly at any time, however, you can only switch back to a monthly plan after the completion of the full year.
